With the warmer weather, summer’s feeling like it’s just around the corner and many homeowners are considering installing a backyard swimming pool in time for summer featuring two of Crystal Pools projects: Pittwater Infinity edge pool and Central Coast pool.

Yesterday the Daily Telegraph featured an article on planning a pool for summer swimming.

For anyone with dreams of splashing out on a pool for the coming summer, now is the best time to be making plans as getting approval can take a few months.

Crystal Pools sales manager Andrew Rothery says his company meets clients on site to go through the design process.

“After that you would get engineering for the pool organised,” he says. “You would get your approvals — council approval or a certifier approval, a DA or a CDC approval — that allows the job to be approved to be constructed.

“Construction is about a 12-week period after council approval.”
